Eryk Anders took a gamble taking on long time contender Christian "CLD" Leroy Duncan in Las Vegas and came up short. It was a very rough night for Anders who was the recipient of an eye poke, low blow, and spinning elbow, all in the first round. The spinning elbow being the beginning of the end for Anders, as he was knocked off balance and swarmed with punches until the referee stepped in.

Anders, who has already mapped out retirement, was planning for the Duncan fight to be one of his final two fights left on his UFC contract.

For his last fight, Anders is considering Noche UFC on Sept. 13, or the UFC's annual pay-per-view event in November.

Anders was riding a two fight win streak before losing to Duncan.
