Get ready for a night where boxing’s past, present, and future all come together in one place.

On Saturday, June 20, Skyy Boxing is bringing the 10th annual Hall of Fame Boxing Show to the Bryant Conference Center in Tuscaloosa. Fans will be treated to a full evening of celebration and action, with doors opening at 5 p.m. CST and the event kicking off at 6 p.m. CST.

First up, it’s all about honoring the past. The Alabama Boxing Hall of Fame will welcome its Class of 2026, recognizing some of the state’s standout contributors to the sport. This year’s honorees include pro boxer Larry Marks of Selma, amateur standouts Napolean Cleveland (Selma) and Lem Franklin (Mobile), and old-timer Bob Scanlon from Mobile. The ceremony will also recognize key figures behind the scenes, like Charlie Hutchinson, Roy Jones Sr., Oliver Miller, Gerald Allen, and Jeff Dodson, whose work has helped shape boxing across the region.

But this event isn’t just about looking back—it’s also about what’s happening right now. Fans will get to enjoy a six-bout professional fight card featuring local talent, including Deon Nicholson, Ke’Eric Hinton, and others who are scheduled to step in the ring.

The future of Alabama boxing will be accounted for as well, as the evening will include presentations for the state’s top Golden Gloves amateurs—the rising stars who could someday headline cards just like this one.

Tickets are priced at $50 for general admission and $100 for ringside seats. For tickets or more details, you can contact Jay Deas at (205) 799-1696.

Whether you’re a longtime boxing fan or just looking for an exciting night out, this event has a little bit of everything.
