Fury Gets Wilder To Break Silence at Second Press Conference; Wilder Maintains Fury Cheated

The promotional push heated up as Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury shared the stage for a second time with Kate Abdo at the final press conference for #WilderFuryIII.

Things were different this time around, as Fury was able to agitate Wilder enough to speak and even engage in a back and forth verbal tussle with him; in the first press conference Wilder opted not to speak to the media or take questions and instead wore his headphones while stoic faced.

Highlights of the press conference include Fury antagonistically asking Wilder why Jay Deas remained on the team if disloyalty was the reason Mark Breland was released. He took it even further by saying Deas was complicit and was actually the one who taped the knuckle dusters to his hand.

Wilder responded by saying he has inside information that proves Fury cheated and that he will take this belief to his grave. Wilder also said that having all his brothers around him for the entirety of this training camp has made a big difference, and everyone will see that difference on Friday.

It is a safe assumption that the verbal war and mind games will only increase in the lead up before the two meet on Saturday October 9, on Fox PPV on ESPN+ Pay-per-view.
